Safety and baby products are an important mix and you as the responsible carer need to know the facts. The ACCC and state/territory fair trading regulators have joined forces to provide you, the consumer, a new Product Safety website.

www.productsafety.gov.au has been created to provide a single access point for all information relating to the products we use everyday. Those products that are regulated or subject to mandatory standards including baby products such as prams and strollers are monitored for compliance, recalls and basic safety requirements. Product safety, contact details, how to make inquiries, safety myths and tips can be viewed online as well as an option to sign up for safety notifications can all be found at www.productsafety.gov.au.
