The Bugaboo Donkey has a convertible design that changes from a single-child stroller to a two-child stroller and back again. By adding the Bugaboo Donkey Duo Extension Set, the Tailored Fabric Set, and the Sun Canopy (each sold separately) to the Bugaboo Donkey Base, parents can switch from the Mono to the Duo configuration with three simple clicks. Add a Bassinet Complete to the Bugaboo Donkey Base and Bugaboo Donkey Duo Extension Set, and you can switch to a Twin configuration to accommodate two kids from newborn to toddler.

The Bugaboo Donkey Base comes with one bassinet that holds babies up to 20 pounds and one seat that accommodates children up to 37-1/2 pounds.

Convertible Stroller That Accommodates Newborns and Toddlers

The Bugaboo Donkey is ideal for strolling with one child. To keep babies cozy, the bassinet offers a supported space with aerated mattress for riding or napping until your child is able to sit up independently. The bassinet holds infants up to 20 pounds and can be used together with the side luggage basket.

When your child is ready to sit up, change the bassinet fabric to the seat fabric, and he or she can sit in the toddler seat, facing the world or the parent. Both the bassinet and the seat can be carried and used independently.

Duo and Twin Configurations Hold Two Children

With the Bugaboo Donkey Duo Extension Set and Bugaboo Donkey Sun Canopy (each sold separately), the Bugaboo Donkey Base easily converts from the single-child Mono configuration to the two-child Duo or Twin configurations.

For parents who have children of different ages (toddler and newborn), the Duo configuration allows both children to ride side-by-side, or facing opposite ways. The Duo configuration can be altered into eight different modes, letting parents rearrange the bassinet and seat to suit their children (or remove one component completely for extra storage space).

By adding the Bugaboo Donkey Bassinet Complete to the Bugaboo Donkey Base, Bugaboo Donkey Duo Extension Set, and two Tailored Fabric Sets, you can convert your stroller to a Twin configuration. The Twin features five different options to let children of similar or the same age (two toddlers or two infants) sit comfortably next to one another. Children can sit facing the same or opposite ways, letting them see different views of the passing world and play with each other as they ride. The Twin can also accommodate two car seats to help parents who are traveling with newborns.

Stroller Folds into Self-Standing Unit

Whether in Mono, Duo, or Twin configuration, the Bugaboo Donkey can be folded into a self-standing unit (regardless of which direction the seats are facing). Even in Duo or Twin configuration, the Bugaboo Donkey is compact and streamlined, so you can comfortably push it through busy parks and down city sidewalks.

For easy operation, this stroller offers the convenience of one-hand seat adjustment, a foot brake, and a height-adjustable handlebar.

Adjustable Five-Point Harness

Height-adjustable shoulder straps on the seat's five-point harness system make it easy to secure your growing child. Simply slide the shoulder straps up or down to adjust the harness and create the correct fit.

Expandable Side Luggage and Underseat Basket

To keep essentials close at hand, the Bugaboo Donkey Base offers the convenience of expandable storage baskets that are accessible in any of the three stroller configurations.

A side luggage basket has a capacity of 5 to 6 gallons and can hold up to 11 pounds of goods next to the bassinet or seat when the stroller is in Mono configuration. The underseat basket has a 9-gallon capacity and can hold up to 22 pounds of goods regardless of the stroller's configuration.

Large, Air-Filled Tires for Smooth Rides on Rough Terrain

The Bugaboo Donkey offers a smooth, comfortable ride even on rough terrain or city sidewalks thanks to its air-filled tires, 10-inch front swivel wheels, and 12-inch rear wheels. The front swivel wheels lock for steering control. You can even pull the stroller behind you in the two-wheel position to make your way over sand, mud, snow, or other uneven ground.

Easy-Care Construction

The Bugaboo Donkey Stroller has an aluminum chassis for easy care and durability. To clean, simply wipe with a wet cloth. All fabrics can easily be removed and are machine washable.
